Traction started with a simple observation: the tools CS teams are using were never designed for CS. We’re here to change that.

Our story

The problem was hiding in plain sight

Traction’s founder Sebastian Kade noticed Customer Success Managers lose hours every day to tasks that had nothing to do with their customers. Back-to-back meetings, then more time updating CRMs, chasing feedback, writing follow-ups, and digging through transcripts to find what was actually said six weeks ago.

The deeper problem wasn’t just admin overhead. It was that even the most diligent CSM, managing a book of 40 or 50 accounts, physically cannot give each one the attention it needs. Something always slips. Risks go unspotted. Expansion opportunities get missed. Not because the CSM doesn’t care—but because there are only so many hours in a week.
