The Opportunity
Looking for a GTM co-founder to join Traction. We're building the world's first Team Operations Platform, and we need a marketing visionary to help us find our perfect audience and tell our story in a way that makes them say "finally!"
You'll be the architect of our go-to-market strategy, brand voice, and growth initiatives during our crucial early stages. This is a rare opportunity to shape not just marketing, but the entire trajectory of a product that makes work more fulfilling for everyone.
Your Mission
Find Our Wedge: Identify and validate the perfect initial market segment where Traction can make an immediate, meaningful impact
Craft Our Story: Develop positioning and messaging that makes our solution irresistible to our target audience
Build Our Brand: Create and execute a brand strategy that reflects our values of clarity, accountability, and kindness
Generate Demand: Build and nurture a waitlist of qualified, excited potential customers
Champion Our Vision: Be the voice of Traction in the market and an advocate for the teams we serve
What Success Looks Like
In your first 6 months, you will:
Define our initial target market and develop deep customer insights
Create and validate our core positioning and messaging
Launch our brand identity and voice
Build a waitlist of qualified potential customers
Establish our content and community strategy
Set up foundation for scaling our marketing function
About You
You have 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including significant time working with SaaS products
You've successfully led positioning and go-to-market strategy, ideally for early-stage products
You're equally comfortable with high-level strategy and hands-on execution
You have experience building brands that stand out in crowded markets
You're analytical and data-driven, but know how to tell stories that connect emotionally
You thrive in ambiguous environments and love bringing structure to chaos
You're energized by the challenge of being employee #1 and building something from scratch
Must-Haves
Proven track record of identifying and validating market opportunities
Experience building and executing full-funnel B2B marketing strategies
Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with brand development and positioning
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining clear alignment with company goals
